MIND THE MAP grew from Marc Craig’s experiences at Leake Street, where collaboration showed him how sharing ideas can transform an artwork. Using genuine Ordnance Survey maps from his late father’s collection, Marc invited 55 artists to create with him. Each artist finished a map that Marc began, then started another for him to complete. Together, they produced 110 unique artworks exploring memory, our connection to places, and the possibilities that open up when we let go.

The exhibition runs from 2 September to 30 November 2026 at TAPE Community Music & Film, Berthes Road, Old Colwyn, Colwyn Bay, LL29 9SD. Entry is free, and the display changes each month: September features 38 artworks by 19 artists, October brings another 38 by 19 artists, and November presents 34 by 17 artists. Every visit offers a different chapter of the project.

Each original is a one-of-a-kind artwork painted directly onto a map, with the map’s location named on its label. Originals range from 32 to 50 inches, are supplied unframed with a certificate of authenticity, and cost £800–£2,500. Prints are available for £60.
