HAVE YOUR SELFIE UPGRADED IN LOCKDOWN
I am always searching for that simple way of upgrading the daily experience and in lockdown this is more important than ever, Also as a creative I think it so important to engage others with the creative gifts given to us.
When the first lockdown occurred in March 2020 in the UK I literally made my iPad into my second studio as the main studio was locked up. I feel this was a wonderful opportunity as until then I hadn‘t really explored its possibilities. Now nearly a year later you can see how this has been transformed into a digital portfolio of new artwork and this became the springboard to the idea of Pandemic Portraits.
The idea is simple, whilst the lockdown is in effect I am reaching out to any person (and now it seems pets!) who would like their portrait done. No cost, but if you want to pay it forward then share any creative gifts or be of service somehow to others. You will get a full resolution copy of your portrait complete with my doodle creatures keeping you company, A little something to brighten the mood in lockdown and in the pandemic as a whole.
